Research Status

Currently Professor Hao is mainly interested in bio-inspired superhydrophobic materials and nano-/microsystems. To be more specific, he studies the wetting, impact, condensation, evaporation and freezing of the droplet on the superhydrophobic surfaces with micro/nano structures, which is of great importance to a wide variety of industrial applications such as anti-icing, self-cleaning and spray cooling.
