Academic Achievement

Professor Chen Haixin’s research works are mostly focused on Computational Fluid Dynamics and Aerodynamics. With more than 100 publications, he is an experienced researcher on the CFD code development and the CFD investigation about realistic complex configurations for both internal and external flow. He developed the CFD code named as NSAWET (Navier-Stokes Analysis based on Window Embedment Technology), which has been applied to the simulation of many aircrafts and turbomachines. Since the year 2008, he actively takes part in the China C919 Civil Jet program and its following projects. Both his GA/NS design platform and supercritical wing design results are adopted by C919 aircraft.
